Czech Antitrust Authorities Put Spotlight On Ahold

Law360, New York (July 9, 2010, 3:48 PM EDT) -- International retailer Royal Ahold NV is reportedly facing an investigation from the Czech Republic's Office for the Protection of Competition over alleged abuses of its dominant market position in the country.

UOHS Chairman Hynek Brom said that the office has been investigating Ahold since May, Dow Jones reported Friday.
