France, Russia Sign Pact on Technology Transfers

Law360, New York (October 10, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- France and Russia signed an intellectual-property pact to promote technology exchange and joint ventures, the Russian news agency ITAR-TASS reported.

Under the terms of the memorandum, the two countries are setting up a center for transferring technologies at the Bauman State Technical University in Moscow and the Central Engineering School in Lyon.

The center will promote technology transfers in the fields of laser technologies, optical electronics and automatic systems and train specialists to put the results of research efforts into practice, the agency reported, citing Russian...
