Indian Sugar Industry Hails Deregulation Plan

Law360, New York (July 9, 2010, 4:14 PM EDT) -- India's Food and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has said he will consider loosening state control of the sugar industry before next year, ahead of what is projected to be a rebound for the crop, production of which stalled last year due to drought.
