Anadarko, MOEX Bosses To Testify About Gulf Spill

Law360, New York (July 9, 2010, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The heads of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and MOEX Offshore 2007 LLC will appear before a U.S. Senate subcommittee investigating liability for the Deepwater Horizon rig disaster, though Anadarko has said it will not pay $272 million BP PLC already requested in connection with the cleanup.

Anadarko CEO James Hackett and MOEX President Naoki Ishii will appear before a July 22 hearing of the subcommittee on federal financial management, government information, federal services and international security, an aide for committee chair Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del., told Law360...
