Landowners' Chevron Claims Filed Too Late, Court Says

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 3:55 PM EDT) -- The Supreme Court of Louisiana has thrown out claims by a group of landowners who sued Chevron USA Inc. for damages related to the migration of gasoline to their property from leaking underground storage tanks, finding their claims were precluded because they were informed of the damage more than one year prior to suing the oil giant.
