Cooking School Drops Trademark Suit As Food Accrediting Service Changes Name

Law360 (July 22, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The top U.S. culinary school has agreed to settle its trademark lawsuit against a food accreditation institute after the American Culinary Institute agreed to change its name and drop its trademark applications.

Under the settlement agreement, the American Culinary Institute has denied any liability in connection with the lawsuit or the use of the name American Culinary Institute.
