EU Screw Cos. Drop 2 Dumping Suits, For Now

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 2:46 PM EDT) -- A trade group representing European screw and bolt manufacturers reportedly has dropped suits seeking anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders against Indian and Malaysian rivals but may file new allegations down the road.

The group, The European Industrial Fasteners Institute, told Reuters on Tuesday that it had withdrawn the complaints after learning that European regulators were considering dismissing them but that it planned to file more comprehensive versions in the near future.
