Russian Antitrust Package Pushes Liberalization

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 5:59 PM EDT) -- The third package of amendments to Russia's antitrust laws, released as a draft Tuesday, is designed to liberalize the country's anti-monopoly system, to clarify how its rules affect foreign companies, and to offer more guidance and less stringent requirements for the financial services sector.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service unveiled the so-called third anti-monopoly package just a year after the second set of amendments was adopted.
