Court Won't Revive New Haven Firefighter Test Suit

Law360, New York (July 14, 2010, 5:22 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to reverse his dismissal of a black firefighter's discrimination suit against New Haven, Conn., over its 2003 fire lieutenant test — the same exam at issue in the landmark case Ricci v. DeStefano — finding that the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in that suit foreclosed the current plaintiff's claims.
