Jones Day Snags SEC Enforcement Division Vet

Law360, New York (July 14, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- Joan E. McKown, a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission who served as chief counsel of the Enforcement Division for nearly two decades, has decided to join Jones Day's Washington office.

McKown will join Jones Day's D.C. office as a partner in the securities litigation and SEC enforcement practice, the firm said Wednesday.

She will start work at Jones Day in early October, she told Law360.
