Environmental Groups Threaten Reliant With Suit

Law360 (February 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two environmental groups have threatened Reliant Energy Inc. with a lawsuit for allegedly dumping large amounts of pollutants into a Pennsylvania river over the last two years.

Sierra Club and PennEnvironment sent Reliant a letter on Tuesday, informing the company of their intent to sue over the amount of industrial wastewater it has been discharging into the Conemaugh River.
