Weil Gotshal Seeks $9.2M For Aleris Ch. 11 Work

Law360, New York (July 16, 2010, 12:41 PM EDT) -- Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP has asked for almost $9.2 million in fees and expenses for its work shuttling aluminum company Aleris International Inc. through a 16-month bankruptcy.

Weil Gotshal cited the size and complexity of the “demanding” case, as well as the firm's commitment of time and resources, to back up a request for over $8.9 million in fees and more than $233,000 in expenses, in a filing Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
