Huther Takes Reins At IIPI

Law360, New York (July 23, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Brad Huther, a veteran adviser to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a former envoy to the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, has taken over the helms at the International Intellectual Property Institute, a Washington think tank that promotes sound IP policy for sustainable development.

Huther takes over as chief executive of the organization after IIPI founder Bruce A. Lehman resigned as CEO to join the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP as senior counsel in their Washington, DC office....
