Idaho City Sues EPA Over 'Biased' Pollution Plan

Law360, New York (July 19, 2010, 2:16 PM EDT) -- The city of Post Falls, Idaho, has slapped the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with a lawsuit over a plan to cut down on phosphorus in the Spokane River, claiming the restrictions give dischargers in Washington state a disproportionate right to pollute while setting stiffer limits for Idaho.

Post Falls and Hayden Area Regional Sewer Board filed their complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho on Friday, naming the EPA, Administrator Lisa P. Jackson and a regional administrator as defendants.
