Judge Keeps Home Depot, Polar In Fire Suit

Law360 (February 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss Home Depot and Polar Industries from a massive product liability lawsuit brought in the wake of a 2003 nightclub fire that killed 100 people and injured 200 more.

In a decision filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island, Judge Ronald R. Lagueux wrote that the allegations had been sufficiently pled for the case against the companies to proceed.
