Still No Aiding And Abetting Liability Provision

Law360, New York (July 28, 2010, 9:46 AM EDT) -- In Stoneridge Investment Partners LLC v. Scientific-Atlanta Inc., 552 U.S. 148 (2008), the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed what had long been the law — namely, that there was no private right of action for aiding and abetting liability under Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”).
