EPA Not Required To Block Ky. Power Plants: Judge

Law360, New York (July 21, 2010, 4:48 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed the Sierra Club's suit seeking to force the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to stop the construction of three power plants in Kentucky due to fears of heavy air pollution.

Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday granted the EPA's motion to dismiss the case, citing lack of jurisdiction over the matter.
