Cleanup Boat Captain Sues BP For Medical Monitoring

Law360, New York (July 21, 2010, 4:28 PM EDT) -- The captain of a ship cleaning up the Deepwater Horizon rig disaster has asked BP PLC to pay for long-term medical monitoring, claiming the company's lax safety practices have exposed him and perhaps thousands of others to the risk of cancer and other illnesses.
