Norway Probes Siemens For Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (February 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Norwegian antitrust authorities have raided a Siemens unit, looking for evidence from the German engineering and technology company in connection with an investigation into alleged collusion in the fire protection sector.

On Wednesday, competition authorities searched the Siemens Building Technologies office in Norway as part of a probe into the NorAlarm trade organization.

Antitrust regulators are currently probing whether member companies of that trade association engaged in a conspiracy to fix the prices regarding service and maintenance agreements for fire protection systems, according to Siemens....
