Sunrise, Former Execs Strike Deal In SEC Fraud Case

Law360, New York (July 26, 2010, 2:01 PM EDT) -- Sunrise Senior Living Inc. and two of its former executives have reached a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, resolving allegations that they misstated the company's financial results.

The SEC announced the settlements Friday, lodging a simultaneous complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that accused Sunrise, former Chief Financial Officer Larry E. Hulse and ex-Treasurer Kenneth J. Abod of financial reporting fraud.
