The Future Of "Pay-Or-Play"

Law360, New York (February 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In July 2006, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) successfully challenged a Maryland law that required businesses with 10,000 or more employees to spend 8% of their payrolls on employee health care benefits or pay the shortfall to the state.
