Terminix Faces EEOC Sexual Harassment Suit

Law360, New York (July 28, 2010, 2:53 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a lawsuit accusing The Terminix International Co. LP and its parent, The ServiceMaster Co., of subjecting a class of women to a hostile work environment that included unwelcome sexual comments.

The suit, lodged Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, took issue with behavior that occurred in Salt Lake City that allegedly deprived the women of equal employment opportunities and adversely affected their status as employees.
