Turkish Cos. Dodge Steel Pipe Countervailing Duties

Law360, New York (July 29, 2010, 3:13 PM EDT) -- Two Turkish manufacturers of welded carbon steel standard pipe, Borusan Group and Toscelik Profil Ve Sac Endustrisi AS, do not have to pay countervailing duties on the widely used products because they received minimal government subsidies, the International Trade Administration has found.

The decision, made public Thursday in the Federal Register, echoed the result of the agency's preliminary finding from April.
