Lightspeed Infringes Bose Headset Patent: Judge

Law360, New York (August 2, 2010, 3:28 PM EDT) -- Bose Corp. has won summary judgment that Lightspeed Aviation Inc.'s Zulu noise-reducing aviation headset infringes one claim of a patent covering the technology.

Judge William G. Young of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Friday granted Bose's motion for summary judgment that the Zulu headset infringes the first claim U.S. Patent Number 5,181,252.

The judge also granted Bose's motion for summary judgment that the patent was not invalid due to anticipation or lack of specification.
