11th Circ. Nixes Bio-Med Receiver's Bid To Clear Name

Law360, New York (August 3, 2010, 12:52 PM EDT) -- A receiver who had been appointed to handle the wake of the Bio-Med Inc. Medicare fraud will not be allowed to challenge a judge's scathing criticism of her performance, a federal appeals court has ruled, saying the court's job is to correct judgments, not revise judicial opinions.
