Dover Tries To Escape Cleanup Costs For Ohio Creek

Law360, New York (August 4, 2010, 11:59 AM EDT) -- Dover Chemical Corp. has filed suit against federal and Ohio environmental regulators, claiming that it is premature for the agencies to recover expenses and damages over a contaminated creek before they select an appropriate remedy for the site.

The Dover, Ohio-based company lodged the complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, seeking judgments against both the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
