Worker Sues Wal-Mart Under ADA

Law360, New York (February 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has been slapped with a lawsuit by a former employee who contends that the retailer harassed, demoted and forced him to resign because of his age and an anxiety disorder, in violation of federal antidiscrimination laws.

The two-count complaint, filed Monday in western Oklahoma, invokes the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
