Lawyers File Fee Applications In Meridian Case

Law360, New York (February 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Now that Meridian Automotive Systems Inc. has emerged from Chapter 11 protection, the lawyers involved in the case are looking to cash in.

On Monday, Winston & Strawn LLP, which represents the official committee of unsecured creditors, filed a final compensation application that requested $1.9 million in fees and expenses for the work it did while Meridian was in bankruptcy.
