Law360, New York (August 17, 2010, 12:16 PM EDT) -- The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China released the Circular on Issues Relevant to Delegation of the Examination and Approval Authority over Foreign Investments to Lower Levels [Shang Zi Fa No. 209 (2010)] (“Circular 209”) on June 10, 2010.

In response to the Opinions Concerning Further Improving the Work of Utilizing Foreign Investment issued by the State Council in May, 2010, Circular 209 further simplifies the approval procedures for foreign investment in China.
