Trustee Opposes Visteon Trade Committee

Law360, New York (August 9, 2010, 2:07 PM EDT) -- A U.S. trustee has objected to a bid by Visteon Corp.'s unsecured trade creditors to appoint a committee separate from the general unsecured creditors committee to represent their interests in the auto parts maker's bankruptcy.

U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis said in an objection filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware that the trade creditors hadn't shown that they needed a committee separate from other unsecured creditors.
