Law360 (August 12, 2010, 6:59 PM EDT) -- U.S. Senate negotiators reached an agreement Thursday on food safety legislation in an effort to overcome earlier squabbles over what the bill would include and have it ready for the full Senate to take up when lawmakers return from their August recess.
A bipartisan group of six senators released a manager's package of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, as well as a Congressional Budget Office analysis of the bill.
