Lukoil Monopolized Gas Market, Russian Court Says

Law360, New York (August 13, 2010, 3:41 PM EDT) -- A Russian arbitration court has found that oil production giant OAO Lukoil fixed prices and maintained a monopoly on gasoline, backing up a decision by the country's competition regulator.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service said Friday that the Vladimir Regional Arbitration Court had found against Lukoil, ruling that the oil giant violated federal law. The decision, issued Wednesday, supported the FAS' earlier finding.
