Wyeth Garners Victory In Prempro Trial

Law360, New York (February 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal jury has ruled in favor of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in the third case to go to trial over the company’s controversial hormone replacement drugs.

After deliberating for more than a day, the jury in the U.S. District Court in Little Rock, Ark., found Thursday that the drug Prempro did not cause Helene Rush’s breast cancer and that Wyeth was not negligent in the matter.
