Congress, Fed. Circ. To Review Willfulness Doctrine

Law360 (February 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Over the next year, both Congress and the Federal Circuit will consider arguments that could dramatically alter the willfulness landscape.

The House Judiciary Committee has kicked off this year's discussion of patent reform with an oversight hearing entitled: American Innovation at Risk: The Case for Patent Reform.

This hearing was a continuation of the many previous oversight hearings that included debate over the perceived problems with the willfulness doctrine, among other areas of patent reform.
