Ind. Court Nixes Law Firm Malpractice Ruling

Law360, New York (August 18, 2010, 6:41 PM EDT) -- An Indiana appeals court has reversed a lower court's decision denying law firm Flatow Comer LLP summary judgment in a suit accusing it of legal malpractice in an employment case.

The Indiana Court of Appeals found that the plaintiff, Dwane Ingalls, did not supply any evidence that the outcome of his employment suit would have been any different if Flatow Comer had submitted a particular filing, according to the opinion filed Monday.
