Law360, New York (August 24, 2010, 5:24 PM EDT) -- Vedanta Resources PLC has run into a roadblock in its bid to mine bauxite for its alumina refinery in the Indian state of Orissa, with the country’s environmental regulator denying approval of the British mining giant’s request in a move that could pose trouble for the company's plans to expand in India's energy sector.
