Court Should OK $12M Deal For Peanut Victims: Judge

Law360, New York (August 26, 2010, 6:29 PM EDT) -- A magistrate judge has recommended approving a settlement in which the trustee for bankrupt Peanut Corp. of America would distribute $12 million to resolve more than 120 tort claims arising from people who became ill or died after eating salmonella-tainted peanut products.
