McDermott Blasts $143M Patent Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (August 26, 2010, 6:43 PM EDT) -- McDermott Will & Emery LLP has struck back at claims from Nomir Medical Technologies Inc. that three attorneys missed patent filing deadlines and cost the medical device maker at least $143 million in lost profits, arguing that the company breached a contract and failed to pay $500,000 in fees.
