Ex-ITC Judge Joins Sonnenschein

Law360, New York (February 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal has snapped up a former administrative law judge to join the Washington, D.C.-contingent of its ballooning patent litigation team.

The recruitment of Delbert “Chip” Terrill, who presided over cases at the International Trade Commission for four years, represents something of a coup for the firm—which now boasts the only practicing former ITC judge in the game.

With the addition also of partner Yar Chaikovksy from rival firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Sonnenschein’s patent litigation group now has more than 30 devoted lawyers...
