Wal-Mart Pharmacists Appeal FLSA Ruling

Law360, New York (February 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Current and former pharmacists at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. have appealed the dismissal of their drawn-out class action lawsuit against the retail giant, which stands accused of paying “sham” salaries in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The appeal was filed Tuesday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit following the dismissal of case on Jan. 23 by Judge Zita L. Weinshienk in Colorado District Court. The suit was filed there in 1995 by 573 individuals.
