EPA Barred From Trashing Docs In Union Pacific Suit

Law360, New York (August 27, 2010, 1:47 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction to stop the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from destroying records that Union Pacific Railroad Co. is seeking concerning lead contamination at a Superfund site in Omaha, Neb.

Judge Laurie Smith Camp of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska also laid out guidelines Thursday on how the preliminary injunction will be enforced in the Freedom of Information Act suit brought by Union Pacific.
