American GNC Seeks ITC Probe On Marine Autopilots

Law360, New York (August 27, 2010, 5:00 PM EDT) -- American GNC Corp. has accused several companies — including Furuno Electronics Co. Ltd., Navico Holding AS and Flir Systems Inc. — of importing marine autopilots and components that infringe a patent.

Simi Valley, Calif.-based AGNC filed its complaint Thursday, asking the U.S. International Trade Commission to launch an investigation into whether the respondents have violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 and seeking an exclusion order barring the allegedly infringing products from entering the U.S.
