Kroger Has To Arbitrate Union Grievances: 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (August 27, 2010, 2:59 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has rejected The Kroger Co.'s challenge to a decision compelling arbitration of Teamsters Local 89 grievances, alleging Kroger ran afoul of a collective bargaining agreement.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit issued an 18-page opinion Wednesday affirming a trial court's ruling that granted Local 89 summary judgment on its bid to compel arbitration.
