CIT Affirms That Trinidad Rod Dumping Harmed US

Law360, New York (August 30, 2010, 8:22 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade on Monday upheld a determination that imports of wire rods from Trinidad and Tobago were sold at less than fair value and harmed the U.S. industry.

Judge Thomas J. Aquilino Jr. of the CIT affirmed the U.S. International Trade Commission’s second remand determination after none of the parties involved objected to the finding, dismissing the case that was launched in November 2002 by Mittal Steel Point Lisas Ltd., which has since merged into ArcelorMittal.
