World Trade Value Is Up 25% In 2010, WTO Says

Law360, New York (September 1, 2010, 2:20 PM EDT) -- The value of world merchandise trade continued to rise in the second quarter of 2010, showing marked improvement over the same period in 2009, according to a report released Wednesday by the World Trade Organization.

Overall, the value of global trade is up 25 percent in the second quarter of 2010 as compared to the second quarter of 2009, according to the WTO’s analysis of short-term merchandise trade statistics.
