Ex-Auto Dealer Chief Pleads Guilty To Borrowing Scam

Law360, New York (September 9, 2010, 5:41 PM EDT) -- The former head of a Minnesota auto dealership empire has pled guilty to charges stemming from an alleged conspiracy to bilk Chrysler Financial Services LLC and other lenders of millions of dollars and conceal assets in bankruptcy.

Dennis Earl Hecker on Tuesday copped a guilty plea in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of bankruptcy fraud. Judge Joan Ericksen will issue his sentence at a future hearing.
