Goldman M&A Expert To Be New GSK CFO

Law360, New York (September 10, 2010, 4:33 PM EDT) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC has lured the head of Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s European mergers and acquisitions business to replace its retiring chief financial officer, a move that will purportedly help the U.K. pharmaceutical company implement its growth strategy.

Simon Dingemans, who has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, will be appointed chief financial officer designate and executive director on Jan. 4, 2011, GSK announced Wednesday. He will be replacing current CFO Julian Heslop, who plans to step down at the end of March....
