Kleen Energy Faces More Suits Over Fatal Plant Blast

Law360, New York (September 9, 2010, 6:53 PM EDT) -- Kleen Energy Systems LLC and contractors building a power plant in Connecticut are reportedly facing nine more suits over a February blast that killed six workers and injured 50 at the site.

On Thursday, victims of the explosion and their families filed suit in Middletown Superior Court in Connecticut, alleging that plant owner Kleen Energy, the general contractor for the project O&G Industries Inc. and technical expert Bluewater Energy Systems neglected to take precautions that would have prevented the explosion, the Associated Press reported.
