Sierra Club Sues Alliant Unit Over Wis. Power Plants

Law360, New York (September 10, 2010, 3:26 PM EDT) -- The Sierra Club has accused Wisconsin Power and Light Co. — a unit of Alliant Energy Corp. — of shirking emissions control standards and failing to obtain necessary permits before modifying equipment at two of its coal-fired power plants.
