EPA To Review Deregulation Of Hazardous Waste

Law360, New York (September 13, 2010, 7:30 PM EDT) -- As part of a settlement with the Sierra Club in a federal appeals court, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to take a second look at a 2008 rule that deregulated certain forms of hazardous waste.

In a filing with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Friday, the EPA and the Sierra Club announced the settlement and asked the court to sever the case from a related case over the controversial rule filed by the American Petroleum Institute....
